| This collection of classroom science activities has already been tried and proven! They come from the pages of Teaching PreK-8 and have been sent in by teachers from all over the United States. The ideas are presented in a concise recipe format that includes the age group and skill targeted, the prep and activity time required, the materials and set-up necessary, some extension activities, and the national science standards being met. The materials used here are everyday items that are normally found in an elementary school or in a household. The activities are designed for individuals, and for small or large groups, but all can easily be adapted to fit differing needs. |
